How To Hobby builds place pages from public geographic and recreation datasets. This page summarizes the providers we use and how we attribute them.
- OpenStreetMap — community-mapped dog parks and boat launches. Data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL).
- PAD-US (USGS) — protected areas of the United States. Public domain U.S. Geological Survey product.
- Recreation.gov (RIDB) — federal campground and recreation facility records from Recreation Information Database.
- USDA Forest Service — National Forest System trail inventory.
- Oregon Parks and Recreation — Oregon state park locations via public GIS.
- Michigan DNR — public boating access sites.
